Boppy

A great gift from our great friends in NY, Colleen and Trevor - ...the BOPPY! or as Greg said..."Oh cool, a pillow" I'm so excited to use it. BL will be super comfy during eating times.
Here's Greg and I testing out the new toy.
Greg: "Oh please BL go to sleep. I know this isn't what your mama does with the pillow but she's not here, so PLEASE go to sleep"
Emily: "Oh my gosh! My boomies sit perfectly on here! BL will LOVE it!"

30 Weeks

BL is 30 weeks big!! Last night Greg and I were lying on the couch and BL started whapping away like he/she always does around 9 o'clock. Greg put his hand over my belly and was in shock. He couldn't believe how hard BL moves....and that was just their hand/elbow. He asked if it hurts and I told him it doesn't. He really enjoyed feeling BL for the next hour.

My New Best Friend

Meet my new best friend: THE JOGGER!!! - Thanks to the Salomone's, Mama will be getting back to shape in S-T-Y-L-E! I tested it out all around the house and it's perfect! Sydney didn't like being in it, but I'm sure BL will love the ride, once they're a few months old that is.

29 Weeks

Went to the doc today.....had a half day of work too! Met with yet another doctor....who knows who we'll have come delivery time. Anyways, everything went well. Took my glucose test and passed. BL's heat beat was pumping at 150 bpm. My belly was measuring 29 cm. The doc couldn't tell what position BL was in, possibly because BL was moving all around or too small to tell. I'm still working on telling if it's their butt or head that I feel protruding out of my belly.
Greg and I are signed up for our Bradley Birthing Class. The Bradley Method teaches about natural childbirth . It also focuses on natural labor techniques where Greg plays an active part. We're going to go on Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:30. Yay for birthing class! To read more, here's the link http://www.bradleybirth.com/
Other than that, the room is at a standstill. Waiting for our next burst of energy and $ flow.

The Nursery & Mama at 28 Weeks

Here's the new crib and glider that Nanny & Nonny bought BL. Greg and I thought it was going to take the whole vacation to put together but surprisingly we put together both pieces in about an hour!!! Go new parents!
I'm started to organize clothes and such and thought it would be cute to hand BL's bathrobes on the back of the door. The new duck one is AWESOME, given to us by Kevin & Jocelyn (along with a TON of other goodies)

Here's a snapshot of the learning corner. Gotta love being the child of 2 teachers. The black is magnetic and chalkboard. We still need to put up molding at the top of the board. The table and chairs is from Uncle Ralph....hand made for his kids and he gladly passed it on to BL.

An up close shot at the glider. Super comfy and all ready to go with some blankets from Mike and Kasa. I have a feeling that is going to be our second bed once little BL arrives.

The crib in full detail. It also will convert into a toddler bed and then a double bed with head/foot board, though from what I hear it's going to be torn apart by BL from shaking, biting, you name it, so we're thinking it just might stay a crib and be used for all 5 babies! Ha ha!

And lastly, Mama at28 weeks with the black bomber. The belly is getting bigger. We're headed for the doc next Wednesday for our monthly check-up and a glucose test. I'm feeling well, a few leg cramps here and there and the lower back, but nothing too extreme. Greg is taking good care of me and enjoys feeling BL practice karate every day.
