Anna: I love my pet Sydney
Greg: I know you do
Anna: I want to get another pet, I want a cat
Greg: Nope, we will never get a cat
Anna: Why? I like cats
Greg: Mommy and Daddy don't like cats
Anna: Oh
Greg: Well, when you get older and have your own house you can get a cat
Anna: But Dad, I don't know how to get my own house!

Never ending...
We had a successful soccer practice tonight, wa-hoo! No crying, no hand holding, no whining! It must have been the hotdogs we ate in the car on the ride up.
Tonight, we were all be addressed as the following and if not, we got scolded.
Anna: Ariel
Mom: Mommy Ariel
Dad: King Triton
Quinn: Flounder
Sydney: Sebastian
For the weekend:
Grandma: Prince Erics Mommy Ariel
Pop: Prince Eric
Get your names straight people!
We've been having bedtime issues with the little miss, she just takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R to fall asleep (I wonder where she gets that from?!?!). She's in bed by 7:15 and doesn't fall asleep until at least 8:30 the earliest and then she's just a crank-pot in the morning. We tried reasoning and talking with her that the reason she's cranky in the morning is because she won't go to sleep, but obviously that doesn't work. Tonight it was, there are books in my bed, what are you doing out there mom & dad?, I have to go poop, then once we began to ignore her, there were sounds, moving around sounds but she didn't not come out of her room, so finally Greg says, Anna come here, so she comes out, she is naked (took her fleece nightgown off), has undies on (not the correct way, in the wrong holes) and is stuck trying to get her Tinkerbell nightgown on that is totally too small, she is supposed to be using it to "feel" at night but she was insistent on wearing it, (actually, as I type, 8:42, she is scraping her feet against the wall, still awake!), so I had to bring her back in, show her that the tag said for 2 year olds (even though it really said 3, but I was just praying she wouldn't notice and she didn't) so we finally settled on a pair of pants and a long sleeve shirt and to use the tinkerbell nightgown to feel, so as I put her in bed she says, mom can you make sure we put a tinkerbell nightgown on my christmas list, size 4, ok mom? You got it Anna, now go to bed!
Quinn on the other hand just wants to eat and not hear loud machinery. Gina also said that he was very possessive over his family poster on the wall and didn't want any of the other kids touching it and was pushing and bit someone because they were touching his pictures. Geeze!

Anna's family project & behavior chart
Anna loves getting green stickers each day. Today she showed me her green sticker but didn't realize the writing in the box, so I read it to her & she says, "noooo I don't want to be bossy!" And starts crying. She was so upset that something "else" was on her behavior calendar. She's been so proud of her new behavior chart this week & loves sharing it with Greg and I. We told her its ok, you are a great girl! "No, no, I don't want to talk about it. I don't want to be bossy."

Fit of the century
Fit started at 2:30 in his crib & ended around 3:25, when we finally just threw him in the wagon & took a walk around the block. Never have we ever seen such a fit, totally thought he'd get tired, bit were we wrong.
This is him catching his breath, getting ready to thrash & scream, round 459

And GO!
This continued all around our room, spun circles in the kitchen, on the back porch, in Anna's room, in the living room....you name it. Made for a lovely afternoon in the Law house, good thing Greg & laughed through most of it. Towards the 3:30 mark we almost lost it.
