Sick
OK folks, do you see that snot-like looking thing at the edge of Quinn s right nostril?
Want to take a guess as to what it might be?
(The red thing is an arrow I tried to add on to the picture)
A piece of spaghetti! - that I had to pull out with a Q-tip & tweezers.
Belize
Anna finally wore the Belize shirt that Greg bought her last year which says "Belize" on it and she says, "Look mom (pointing to shirt) my shirt says 'My dad went to Belize last summer and bought me this shirt and I didn't wear it, but now I am'".

The rest of our birthday day
All bundled up (even though it really wasn't that cold out)
A great camping area to come back to in the summer
Taking a break because Quinn thought it was fun to move all over while Greg was walking making even harder to carry his 25 pound body around
Being a goofball
Then ignoring me for another picture
Tripping over yet another root
Now I'll look at you mom
Looks like fun to run and jump off of in the summer
Daddy's girl
Family fun!
Love.
Silly.
Because he would dump the whole thing all over his face.
Walking the streets of Elizabethtown
And a greasy lunch at Melvins

Anna
The other day Anna's teacher Sammie-Jo sent home a paper that said she is beginning to assess/teach colors, shapes, knowing and writing the first letter in your childs name, etc. and that she will let us know what you child doesn't know so you can work at home. Anna made us proud, she knows all her colors, shapes, knows not just the first letter in her name but can name all letters in her name as well as write it. When we got home later that night we talked about how proud we were and she continues to tell us the first letter of every one of her friends names, "Connor starts with C, just like Cohen. Allison starts with an A like me and Avery and Audrey. Mason starts with a M, just you like Mommy." and so on for 13 more of her friends. Then today, as we are home sick with the stomach bug, she tells me the months of the year. Knowing all of that, last night she is in pretend land and begins to assign us roles, "Mommy, you be's the mommy ariel, Daddy be's King Triton, Quinn be's Flounder and I be's Ariel. What will Sydney be's?" And I just don't want to correct her grammar because it's so stinkin' cute and she's growing up too fast, I still want some little kid in her, even if it means saying the word "be's".
