Exhausted

This little man was up last night from 12-3 am, and now he is happily playing with trains. We are all going to need a nap later today.

 

Summer Vacation Slideshow

We just got back from a lovely vacation in the Catskill mountains in Walton NY. This camp out was started in 1977 and has continued every summer since. Greg and I went for a bunch of years during college but once we moved to NC the camp out week always coincided with the first week of school for us so we haven't been in 7 years. This year they moved the date so we were able to go and it was so worth the wait and drive time.

We all lived together outside on the front lawn of Joe's house for 4 1/2 days, slept outside, showered outside, played outside, cooked outside, pottied outside, swam in the creeks and lakes, jumped from bridges, took early morning runs through the mountain roads, drove into town, cuddled through storms, hiked to the quarry, visited the local bar, saw bears, had a ligit fireworks show, stayed up waaaay to late, had a fire going 24/7, and thoroughly enjoyed some good ol' friend time.
