Mothers Day Weekend

What a great weekend we had, here is Anna all ready for school Friday morning,

And Friday night Greg and I had a date to the 8th grade formal at his school - wahoo!

Saturday afternoon we celebrated Uncle Chris' 30th birthday with super silly games & delicious food (this picture shows nothing whatsoever of the party, oh well1)

Sunday morning Greg made a delicious breakfast and then it was cuddle time on the couch with my favorite girl

Then it was time to strawberry pick, we had a blast

Quinn: "Yum Dad, thanks!"

Quinn: "You're giving me more right?"

Quinn: "Wait a second, that was supposed to be for me!"

Quinn: "Not cool Dad!"

Quinn: "I WANT MORE ICE CREAM!"

We did the river to sea bike ride his morning with the kids. Borrowed a bike trailer from a friend at work, hooked everything up and were ready to go. We got downtown around 8:15 and the ride started at 8:30. It was such a nice ride through wilmington, through streets we have never been on. Anna and Quinn did great and had a fun time watching the other bikers and all the things passing by. It was 11 miles to he beach. When we got there we had some snacks and we won a t-shirt, always fun winning a raffle. Then it was time to ride back, though we opted o take he bus back instead. We had a great morning and wanted to end in a good note. Next year we'll do the round trip ride.
