Hello there....life with 2 kids is a big difference. Every day I tell myself that I'm going to sit down and blog so I can keep all our memories on here but as soon as the last one falls asleep, Greg and I are right behind them. Right now, Quinn doesn't want to be put down during the day, wants to be held all day long, but when it comes to bed time, he's a champ. Anna on the other hand, is a great helper all day long but when it comes to bed time, it absolutely terrible. We've hit some kind of stage where it's at least 10+ times out of bed before she stays in. We've started bath at 6:30 now and start laying down at 7:00 so she can actually fall asleep at a decent time. Greg and I are good at taking turns meeting her at the door and turning her right back around and into her bed. She is very good at coming up with excuses, tonight it was, "My chin hurts" Who knows!
Quinn is rolling over all the time and this is how he falls asleep if left in a chair, today he was trying to eat that lamb ear. If he's in his crib, he's flipped the minute I lay him down.
Here's Quinny's room....much like Anna's, we took the pink birds off the tree, moved the dresser out of the closet, added the stick letters for his name and the recliner. Hopefully for Christmas, his first, we can make him a toy box like we did for Anna.
Here's the bugger sleeping....
And the princess....
will only wear dresses. After we finished the wash tonight I had to secretly fold up all her dresses and stash them away in her closet. It's getting chilly this week, and by chilly I mean mid-high 60's, and dresses are just not going to cut it. Also, it's a fit every morning because she doesn't have that many and just wants to continually wear them. Nanny bought her so many cute fall clothes that I'm determined to begin wearing them, so dresses be gone! We went out last weekend to do errands and on the way we stopped to get bagels for breakfast, when we asked Anna what type of bagel she wanted she said, "the one with sprinkles"...funny girl, thinking she was getting a donut! When we finally convinced her that we were getting bagels and not donuts, we asked her what she wanted on her bagel and she said, "cream please". Love toddler talk.
