Today was fun because our little girl is growing up right before our eyes.
We headed to the beach for our first family photo shoot. A friend from school takes pictures for a hobby and offered to do some pictures for us for the holidays. We started at the beach and got some nice shots until we decided that it would be a cute shot to sit Anna near the top of the dune. All was great until she began to tumble down the hill. Sand EVERYWHERE! After that we just had a cranky baby, and had to pick sand out from every orifice on her face. Sorry Anna. Once all was calmed down we headed to the park which was decorated for Christmas and took some family pictures there. Hopefully we'll have the pictures before Thanksgiving. Will post when available.
When we got home we just hung around the house. But rather than putting Anna in her jumperoo she was insistent on being free. So we placed her on the ground and low and behold, we have a speed demon on our hands. She crawled all around the kitchen, from Mommy to Daddy and then back and forth 10 more times. She then followed us into the bedroom, then followed Daddy into the bathroom and over to the tub...back out of the bathroom. When we went to lie on the bed, Anna was content on the floor, crawling all around, trying to get books off of the nightstand, her stuffed animal off the rocking chair, being nosy into the closet and so on. What a busy girl! So this is what she does at daycare all day? No wonder when we bring her home she has no interest in crawling and just wants to be held at night, she's already had a busy day crawling with her friends.
Since she was super busy she ate like a growing girl. 1 cube of pumpkin/mango, 1 cube of acorn squash, 1 container of prunes/apples, a full container of peach yogurt and a cookie for dinner. Go Anna!
