Anna feel asleep early last night and didn't get to see the Christmas tree all set up, so here she is this morning going on the hunt to find the tree!
And here she is later in the day up to no good trying to scratch open one of the presents (while she climbs on top of the nicely folded clean laundry).
Yeah..I caught you silly goose!
And more mischief
It's just so amazing to watch babies grow. It's been the happiest 8 months watching Anna develop. I remember all I ever wanted was for Anna to find her feet. That was the one thing that would make me the happiest and it did. And now it seems like she was just learning to sit up and we had to watch her or keep out legs on either side of her to keep from tumbling over, then she finally go it! Then onto the day where she hoisted up her belly and got on all 4's! We were amazed! I cried! It was only a few days later where she started rocking back and forth on all 4's, and then out of nowhere she starts to move. Once she began to move, everyday it got faster. I was able to sit her down and she wasn't able to go from sitting to crawling, so it was nice keeping her in one spot. But now....how did we get here??!?...I sit her down in the bedroom and in a minute or two she's either, pulling up on the dust ruffle on our bed, trying to get onto the rocker to get her stuffed animal, eating the bathroom mats, pulling up and looking in the toilet, in our closet playing with Greg's shoes, or a number of other things.
She plays with toys contently while I get breakfast ready, she responds to her name, she follows Greg and I around the house and pulls up on our legs when she's tired, she plays with Sydney, she gets bed head, she climbs up in her crib, she listens to stories, she's amazing. Everything just goes so fast, it's hard to keep up and remember what she was doing yesterday. We absolutely love her to pieces.
