We were up early this morning to get ready for school, but will have to be up even earlier next week when I have to be our of the door at 6:45. Yikes! All things considered, first day waking up early, not so bad. Here's Anna's outfit she picked out, not arguing with her. She was SUPER excited for her backpack and folder.
Dropping Off:
Anna: No kiss or hug or anything. I had to call to her to come and give me love. Geeze!
Quinn: Found some cool balls to play with but then saw me walk out of the door and lost it, both of us.
Picking Up:
Anna: Crying because she didn't want to leave. Had centers (dress up, blocks and trains), served herself lunch, brushed her teeth, met new friends, took a nap with her new blanket, packed her folder up in her backpack and met me at her front door.
Quinn: Sitting on the bottom step of a little toy bridge all by himself waiting for me. Gina said he cried most of the morning. Didn't like sitting down at a table in a chair to eat, was the last to fall asleep and the first to wake up, not a long nap, woke up screaming, got 2 "oops" reports for hitting his head, hated getting his diaper changed. Gina loves him and reassured me that it'll all get better. :) I hope!
