Tonight as we were getting ready for stories, we couldn't find Wee Little Chick. Honestly. Ir was not in its usual spots. Anna patiently looked for it in both of her book bins in her room, back and forth, back and forth, but it was not there. But then HOORAY, Mama to the rescue found another book that was almost identical. Right?
NOT! Little Chick DID NOT go over well. We got maybe 2 pages in and she was not happy. We tried One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, but that only lasted 3 pages. Finally we went on a hunt around the house and TA-DA....Wee Little Chick was found. On Mama and Daddy's bed, right where we read it last, probably only 15 minutes earlier.
And Yes, once we found it, it was book choices #1, #2 & #3 tonight.
