Yikes

Sorry for the delay folks. It's the end of the school year and we're scrambling to get finished. I'm all ready to sit down and load some pics and stories about Anna but my camera is once again MIA. Possibly left in the classroom from graduation today. Oh well. There has been lots and lots going on with miss priss lately, lets see what I can remember.

  • New signs: Thank you, hands off, yum, up, bed time,
  • Signs Mastered: Please, more, all done, bath, come Sydney,
  • She imitates anything you do. She found a tube of craft glue sitting around and it looks like our sunscreen bottle so she started to pretend to put sunscreen on her arm and then rub it in. On her play kitchen she mixes and stirs just like when Mama's cooking dinner.
  • Anna loves magnetic letters on Grandma's fridge, so I snagged a few from school today. She's finally getting the hang of how to turn it around so the magnet sticks to the fridge. Though tonight she was super proud to fit them in her mouth. We'll have to work on that.
  • She has also been really into toilet paper lately. And not pulling it all off the roll, but tearing tiny tiny pieces off and feeding them to Sydney like it's a treat or something.
  • As for eating stuff, Anna eats sand. Handfuls. Doesn't mind if her cookie, cup, anything falls in the sand, she'll still eat it. Ick!
  • Gram and Pop have a regular size umbrella stroller (something we need to get since the joggers just too big sometimes) and that is all she wants to go in as soon as we arrive at their house. Last weekend we went out the front door to let Sydney potty and Anna took off down the front sidewalk, into the driveway, around the corner and into the garage in no time flat. When I finally found her she was right at the stroller going "uh uh uh" to go for a walk. She is just SO content and happy when she is being pushed in that stroller. I think she probably could be pushed for hours. Super relaxed and just enjoying staring at the outdoors. It's a fight to get out as you can imagine.
  • Anna can follow simple directions: "Give that plate to grandma please"  "Pick up your cup"
Pics to come as soon as I get my hands on the camera.
